Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah hungry for more trophies after Community Shield triumph over Manchester City

English-born Ghanaian forward, Eddie Nketiah has expressed desire for more trophies after Arsenal defeated Manchester City to win the Community Shield.

Nketiah was a second half substitute when Arsenal came from behind to beat Manchester City on penalties to lift the Community Shield on Sunday.

"What a start to the season, hungry for more!," he wrote on Twitter.

Despite creating scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net as the first half ended in a pulsating goalless draw.

England youngster Cole Palmer climbed off the bench to shot the Premier League champions into the lead in the 77th minute mark.

Manchester City seems to have secure victory but substitute Leandro Trossard found the back of the net in the additional time to force the game to penalties, where Arsenal emerged as winners with a 4-1 win.

Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri missed from the spot with Arsenal converting four penalties to win encounter at Wembley.

Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has been in talks with Nketiah over a potential nationality switch.
