Arsenal hand Carabao Cup hero Nketiah long-term extension

Arsenal teenager Eddie Nketiah has signed a new long term deal with the club.

The18-year-old arrived on the big stage in the Gunners 2-1 win over Norwich in the Carabao Cup in October.

With Arsenal down 1-0, the Englishman came off the bench to score a brace in what was his first appearance for the senior team.

Fellow academy Matt Macey and Ben Sheaf also signed long term contracts.

"Delighted to have signed a new long term deal with Arsenal, looking forward to pushing on and continuing my development at this great club," Nketiah posted on Twitter.

"Thanks to my family and friends for all the support, God is good!"
