Arsenal have been handed a major boost ahead of their Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich, with the German side's dressing room reportedly in disarray.

The Gunners travel to Munich next Wednesday to play in the first-leg of their Champions League last-16 clash with the German champions.

And although Bayern are still top of the Bundesliga by four points, divides are starting to appear within the camp with club-captain Philipp Lahm admitting that their is a dress-room split at present.

Reports have claimed that Bayern's German players are 'furious' with the club's foreign contingent for apparently 'not caring enough'.

"We know what must improve on the pitch and in the dressing room," Lahm said, as quoted in theExpress.

"We don't know why part of the team does not see the problem.I know, of course, why we do not have the results we want. But I'll not say it publicly."

Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti backed up his captain's claims, telling reporters: "The self-criticism of the players has been positive and they have understood what we needed to do.

"It was not a problem of quality ” rather of sacrifice. But we must work better together."
