Arsenal hero Robert Pires says West Ham were good for Dimitri Payet.
Payet has struggled for consistency this season at Marseille this season.
But Pires says: "I think Dimitri could grow again.
"When he was with West Ham he showed great things, but it was important for him to come back in France, where he feels better: his stay in England has certainly helped him.
"The best in OM is Luiz Gustavo."
