Ghana international, Thomas Partey will be absent on Saturday, April 10, 2022, when his Arsenal outfit takes on Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League.

The Black Stars talisman was in action for the Gunners last Monday when the team suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.

Unfortunately, he picked up an injury and was substituted in the second half of the game played at Selhurst Park.

Through a statement from Arsenal on Thursday, April 7, 2022, the club has provided an update on Thomas Partey’s injury.

“Our No. 5 was substituted during Monday night’s game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after aggravating his right thigh.

“Thomas has since received further assessments, and a subsequent scan has shown muscle damage to his right thigh,” parts of the Arsenal club statement have said.

It adds, “We will continue to assess Thomas in the coming weeks, during which time he will also receive further specialist consultations,” parts of the Arsenal statement issued on Thursday read.

“Everyone will be working hard to get Thomas back on the pitch as soon as possible.”

Courtesy of his latest injury setback, Thomas Partey will miss Arsenal’s home match against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.

That game is scheduled to kick-off at the Emirates Stadium at 14:00GMT.
