Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed that his presence in goal distracted Thibaut Courtois during the penalty shootouts in the FA Community Shield.
Following the game, Cech, who played alongside Courtois at Chelsea, revealed that the Belgian international seemed to have been distracted by his presence which led to his former teammate to missing the goal so horribly.
Cech told the BBC: "It's not the first time he's taken a penalty. We used to do a penalty challenge while we a together at Chelsea and usually he buries it top corner the way I went.
"That's why I went where I went but obviously I must have put him off and he tried to change the corner and put it too high."
