Arsenal legend Gilberto has spoken about the delight that a player can gain from scoring against Tottenham.
Many faithful fans of the Gunners will fondly remember the game at the Emirates Stadium in 2006 during which Gilberto scored a brace from the penalty spot to lead the club to victory in the absence of Thierry Henry.
He said: "I knew [how important those goals against Spurs were] because always when you play against your biggest rivals, everything you do positive on the field counts.
"I scored two goals from penalties on that day and it was amazing - I scored against our biggest rival in a very special game for the club and for the fans."
Arsenal meanwhile are set to play Tottenham in the north London derby this weekend.
