Manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has charged midfielder Thomas Partey to maintain his top form in the English Premier League.

The Ghana talisman has displayed an outstanding form for the Gunners since February when he returned to the club from Cameroon following the exit of the Black Stars from the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Speaking in an interview, Mikel Arteta has praised the midfielder for his impressive spells in his team.

Insisting that the player now better understands his teammates, the Arsenal manager urged Thomas Partey to maintain his form.

"You could see he was voted player of the month last month and he's come a long way, he has the consistency and the minutes, he understands what we want much better.

"I think his cohesion and understanding with the rest of the players is getting better and better and now it is about consistency and to keep doing it,” Mikel Arteta shared.

Later tonight, Thomas Partey is expected to be in action for Arsenal when the team takes on Liverpool in the English Premier League.
