The manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has indicated that the club does not know when Thomas Partey would be fit to feature in games.

The Ghana international has been injured since October with his last game for the Black Stars coming in the friendly against the USA.

For Arsenal, Thomas Partey last played for the team on October 8, during the big clash against Manchester City.

His muscle injury has left him on the sidelines for over a month.

Although it has been confirmed today that Thomas Partey has started light training, his manager Mikel Arteta says he is unable to tell when the midfielder will be ready to play in games.

"We don’t know [when he’s going to return yet], he’s getting a very good evolution in the injury but it’s a bit early to get a timeframe," the Arsenal manager said in an interview with the press.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians are hoping Thomas Partey will fully recover this month to be able to play for the Black Stars at the 2023 AFCON.
