Arsenal legend, Ian Wright is confident that the club can be champions of the English Premier League at the end of the ongoing 2022/23 football season.
According to him, the club will, however, need star midfielder Thomas Partey and other players to be fit to achieve that feat.
In an interview after Arsenal drew goalless with Newcastle United on Tuesday, Ian Wright said players including Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard also need to remain fit.
“But when you look at the team this season, Saka's done it, Partey's done it, Odegaard has done it,” Ian Wright noted.
The Arsenal great added, “Those are the ones, if Partey, Odegaard and Saka stay fit – which is going to be very tough – then I think Arsenal have got a very good chance of winning the league.”
Up next for Arsenal in the English Premier League, the club will take on Tottenham Hotspur on January 15.
