According to reports from multiple sources, Arsenal are set to pull off a deadline day madness with the signing of Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
Reports have indicated that the Gunners are currently working behind the scenes to get the deal over the line after disappointment over the Houssem Aouar deal.
The Gunners have chased the Ghanaian for a while and previously offered a cash plus player deal which was swiftly rejected. Atletico Madrid were holding out for the release clause.
Their wish is set to be granted with the apparent release clause trigger set to happen in a few hours. When it does happen, Atletico Madrid will be powerless and the decision will fall on Partey.
