Arsenal Star Admits He May Have to Leave in Order to Secure First Team Football

Jack Wilshere has admitted he might have to leave his boyhood club Arsenal in order to fulfil his desires of playing regular first-team football again.

Currently on loan at 13th placed Bournemouth, the Englishman has spoken of the difficulties he would face leaving the club that gave him his Premier Leaguedebut eight years ago.

Talking toSky Sports, Wilshere explained that any choice on his future wouldn't be an easy one, saying,"I love Arsenal and I've had great times there, and they've been great for me, and I can still see myself playing there. But who knows what the future holds?"

The England international also mentionedhow his exclusion from the England squad prompted him to force through a loan-deal to the Cherries, explaining that:"There were a lot of midfielders and the manager brought another one in.

"I'd been injured for a while, and I was thinking I was at a stage of my career where I needed to play. I'm 24 and I've already missed too much football, and if I want to get to where I want to be it'd be no good coming off the bench in every game."

The midfielder, who completed his first 90 minutes of football in Bournemouth's 0-0 draw with Tottenham in October, has credited his loan move for the reason he is back in manager Gareth Southgate's plans.

Wilshere is doing well at Bournemouth but maybe it's time the English media, especially Arsenal sections, finally accepted that's his level.

Arsene Wenger has made it very clear he would like Wilshere to stay at the Gunners once his loan-deal expires, but for now Wilshere is focused on showing people what he can do in the Premier League.

"At the moment I'm concentrating on Bournemouth. I want to put myself in a position where I go back next year and I'm a better player, and I'm fitter, and I can prove to people I can play week in, week out, and I'm ready for the challenge."

There is no hiding the Englishman's talents when it comes to playing for his country, but is it now time that Jack Wilshere starts making a name for himself again in the Premier League.

Having played in every game for Bournemouth since his summer switch and having been recalled into the England squad, this could be the turn-around Wilshere's career needed.
