Arsenal’s Gazidis to become latest off-field addition at AC Milan

Published on: 29 August 2018

AC Milan continue to make a clean break from the previous regime and could soon see the arrival of Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis onto the Board of Directors at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Former Rossoneri players Leonardo and Paolo Maldini have returned to the club, with Kaka to arrive shortly to begin his career off the pitch and the 53-year-old is close to joining them.

According to Calcio News 24, Gazidis had been hesitant on the move, despite being owners’ Elliott Fund Management’s first-choice for chief executive, but has now indicated that he is ready to accept their offer.

In the meantime, Paolo Scaroni has been appointed interim CEO, however, with the Daily Mail in England reporting that Arsenal have given the South African two weeks to decide on his future, he could arrive before the end of September.
