However, according toSky Sports, the 67-year-old is happy with his current options between the sticks, Petr Cech, David Ospina and Emiliano Martinez.

When the Frenchman was questioned about a possible move for the England international, he said:"No. I have three world-class goalkeepers and I'm happy with the three I have."

Martinez may be the third-choice keeper at the club but he's had three outings in the EFL Cup this campaign following loan stints at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Oxford United during his career.

Despite Wenger's rejection, Hart may yet be handed a second chance at City next season with his replacement Claudio Bravo struggling to adjust to English football.
