Ghana international Asamoah Gyan was left excited to meet former Ghana coach Avram Grant in India after two-years.
Avram Grant and Asamoah Gyan met at a hotel where they shared time reflecting on past memories from their time at the Black Stars.
The duo worked together for two years at the Black Stars, where they nearly won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations but lost on penalties in the finals against Côte d'Ivoire.
"Nice meeting you after 2 years coach," he posted with a picture of Avram Grant on Twitter.
The 34-year-old currently plays for NorthEast United in India, a team formerly coached by Avram Grant after he left parted ways with Black Stars.
The former Kayserispor striker has been one of the standout players for his side, scoring three goals in six games so far this season.
He picked up an injury in his side's 3-0 defeat to ATK in the Indian Super League at the weekend.
