The Black Stars striker completed a transfer to the side during the summer transfer window on a free transfer after seeing out his contract with Turkish Super Lig side Kayserispor at the end of the 2018/2019.

Now eager to write a new chapter of his career with NorthEast United, Gyan has been training in the last couple of weeks and is now in good shape to mark his competitive debut next week.

The India top-flight is just 9 days away from starting and Gyan will have his first taste of the league in a fixture against Odisha FC.
