Asante Kotoko Accra Representative Edmund Ackah says his outfit will no longer pursue the CK Akonnor's despite their General manager Nana Gyembibi Coker saying they were going to petition the Court of Arbitration for Sports after their appeal at the GFA failed.

The Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) ruled in favour of the 45-year-old trainer and ordered the club to settle all forms of compensations due the coach.

Coach CK Akonnor was sacked after leading the club to win GFA Normalisation Committee Special Competition.

He was offered a technical director role but he rejected.

Speaking on Oyerepa 100.7FM, Edmund Ackah revealed that Kotoko will go ahead to settle the Black Stars coach.

"We had 3 days to go for review which we didn't and it means the case has ended unless the court of law which  Asante Kotoko is not the type to send football cases to court," he said.
