Asante Kotoko can damage a lot of teams next season - Vision FC coach Nana Agyemang

Vision FC coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang has spoken highly of Asante Kotoko team ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors defeated the Premier League newcomers in a preseason friendly on Sunday.

Striker Albert Amoah’s brace ensured the Ghanaian giants cruised to a 2-1 win over their opponent.

“Asante Kotoko is very discipline in terms of organization. They don’t press high but wait for spaces in opponent team and utilize it. They did it to us in the first half but I realized it and close that space in the second half”

“Kotoko were able to break out lines. On a whole, if they are a bit potent in attack next season, I think they can damage a lot of teams” he said after the game.

The Porcupine Warriors got rid of over 20 players following an unimpressive performance last season, bringing in 12 new players.

Asante Kotoko faced challenges last season, finishing sixth on the Ghana Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, the new Ghana Premier League campaign will commence on September 6, 2024, with the Porcupine Warriors expected to take on Karela United in opener.
