Former Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has heaped praise on Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Yaw Amponsah since taking over the club last year.

Under failing to win any trophy in his first-year tenure, Agyemang Badu believes Nana Yaw Amponsah has been superb and must be maintained.

The Football Administrator was appointed in August last year and has since secured numerous sponsorships deals and is on the verge of completing the first phase of the club’s modern training complex at Adako Jachie, Kumasi.

“Everyone has his opinion but for me, I don’t think he (Nana Yaw Amponsah) deserve to be sacked. He has done a tremendous job. He has changed player signing to the standard of Europeans.

"He has done a lot and you can claim you doesn’t like him but his managerial style has been superb. So I will be very disappointed if the board decide to sack him," he told Prestea based Energy FM.
