Brands and Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, David Obeng Nyarko has admitted that they need to bring in new players to strengthen their squad.
The Porcupine Warrior have not lived up to expectations in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign despite being in the top four clubs after 13 games. They have won just one of their last 7 games with 5 draws and a loss.
The defending league champions currently sit 3rd position with 21 points so far.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Angel FM, the communications director of the reigning Ghana Premier League holders disclosed his outfit will augment their squad with new signings.
“Asante Kotoko is looking forward to beef up any department in this transfer window” he said.
The Porcupine Warriors has already captured former Medeama midfielder Rashid Nortey on a two and half year deal.
