Asante Kotoko defender Agyemang Badu to miss Hearts clash

Asante Kotoko defender Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is set to miss Sunday’s match day six clash against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak due to accumulated number of cards he has picked so far in the season.

The 24-year-old has been shown three yellow cards in the season after only five matches with the last one coming against Ebusa Dwarfs at Baba Yara stadium, hence he has been ruled out of the crucial game.

Agyemang Badu has played every single minute so far for the Porcupine Warriors and will be a big miss for his side, having been rock solid at the heart of defense.

He is expected to be replaced by Habib Mohammed who started the season nursing an injury he picked during the Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Egypt but he has fully recovered and will be available for selection.

Ismail Abdul Ganiu, who has also been on the sidelines for almost a year is close to full fitness and could be selected for Sunday’s game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
