Asante Kotoko pair Michael Yeboah and Ibrahim Osman have joined fellow Premier League side Liberty Professionals on loan, according to FootballMadeinGhana sources.

The sources at the club say that this move is to afford the players regular playing time which they are finding extremely difficult to come by ahead of the resumption of football-activities in January.

Ibrahim Osman joined Asante Kotoko from Division one side Asokwa Deportivo while Micheal Yeboah will going on his second loan spell since joining the Porcupines Warriors three seasons ago.

Yeboah spent one season on loan at Berekum Chelsea during the 2017/2018 season.

The GFA Normalisation Committee together with club owners of the Premier League and National Division One League agreed to usher a stop-gap competition in their quest to bring Ghana football back to normalcy.

The competition is expected to commence in January 2019 and end in June 2019 and will comprise clubs from both the Ghana Premier League and the National Division One League.

This attempt is to synchronize the domestic leagues with that of Europe, which has been a challenge to the clubs

The Ghana Premier League was truncated after the premiering of Anas expose on corruption in Ghana football where some top GFA officials and referees were caught on camera taking bribe.
