Asante Kotoko fan Augustine Oppong vows to continue supporting club despite shooting incident

Asante Kotoko fan Augustine Oppong has vowed to continue supporting the club despite losing his eye in the shooting incident at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The die-hard supporter also disclosed that even if his leg is amputated, he will still continue to offer his support to the club.

He lost his eye as a result of the shooting incident which happened during Asante Kotoko’s 1-0 defeat to  Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi on match day three of the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking in an interview with Happy Sports, he stated emphatically that what happened at the stadium will not stop him from supporting the club.

"Anytime Kotoko will play a game I will go to stadium and support the team," he said.

"Whatever happened shouldn’t stop me from going to stadium or supporting the team."

"Even if my leg was amputated I will still find my way to the stadium", he ended.
