Asante Kotoko has officially been crowned 2021/22 Ghana Premier League champions on Sunday at their home ground Baba Yara Stadium.
Coach Prosper Narteh and his lads beat relegated Elmina Sharks 3-0. Playmaker Ibrahim Imoro scored a wonderful free kick and Cameroonian import Georges Mfegue scored two goals to seal the win in front of the home fans.
The Porcupine Warriors will play their last Ghana Premier League game against Accra Lions away on 18th June.
Excited Asante Kotoko supporters took to social media to celebrate this season's major achievement.
