Medeama SC defender Nurudeen Abdulai has described their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League match week 28 clash against Asante Kotoko as tough.

He made this remarks after his team once again created many chances in their 1-1 draw against Medeama on Saturday in a Ghana Premier League week 28 game.

The Porcupine Warriors took the lead after inside half an hour through Stephen Mukwala but gave away a penalty that Diawusie Taylor converted in the second half and drew the game in the end.

Speaking after the game, Abdulai disclosed Medeama did not see the game as an easy one despite Kotoko’s poor recent form.

“I will say the match is a tough match. Kotoko is a big team we did not anticipate it was going to be an easy game.

“Every game since our participation in the CAF Champions League, we have always prepared well for all games. So we didn’t think it was going to be an easy match against Kotoko.”

The draw means Kotoko remain in eleventh with 37 points while Medeama are seventh with 40 points.
