In a decisive move, the interim management committee (IMC) of Ghana Premier League club Asante Kotoko has successfully resolved the monetary dispute with former head coach Seydou Zerbo.

The Burkina Faso national, who previously threatened legal action against the club, has now confirmed the receipt of his due compensation.

After months of negotiations, Asante Kotoko has paid Zerbo a total of 9,000 USD, equivalent to three months' salary. According to Zerbo he has checked his account and the money is there so he has no problem with the Porcupine Warriors.

“I have now received all my monies. They have paid my salaries of three months. I have checked my account and the money is in there.”, Seydou Zerbo told Kumasi-based Fox FM as quoted by Ghanasportspage.com.

“Now there is no issue again and I want to thank the management of the team for paying what is due me. I wish the club all the best and for the fans I say big thank you,” he added.
