Asante Kotoko, Hearts Oak among 5 GPL club’s jostling for Sampson Eduku’s signature

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are among five Ghana Premier League clubs interested in signing Sampson Eduku.

Eduku’s contract with the Tamale Citizens expired at the end of the 2022/23 football season.

The forward has become a subject of interest for several clubs to his swashbuckling performance last season.

Speaking to Community FM, Eduku disclosed offers from five clubs in  the domestic top-flight who are seeking for his services.

Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are in hot battle with Ghana Premier League newcomers Nations FC, Medeama and Dreams FC  for the services of the forward.

“A lot of teams are after me. There were calls during the season seeking for my services but we didn’t give a listening ear because the season was not over. At the moment, Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, Medeama, Dreams FC and others have contacted me for my services. We are considering offers from the clubs” he told Community FM monitored by Footballghana.com.

The forward bagged 14 goals in the just-ended season for Tamale City who were unable to survive relegation.

Samspon Eduku has previously played for Elmina Sharks, Sekondi Hasaacas, Samartex, Karela United and Guinea club, Club Industrielle de Kamasar.
