Ganiyu, who missed the Porcupine Warriors' CAF Champions League campaign has been sidelined for two months now.

Despite the reports that the defender will need Surgery before returning to the pitch, Footballghana.com understands that he will avoid having to undergo surgery on his knee problem, and instead will continue to receive treatment with a timeline offered to suggest a return in mid-November.

The highly-rated defender is in a much better condition now and a final scan on Tuesday will determine weather the player will have to go under the knife or not.

The potential return of the former Karela United defender will be a massive boost for the club with Maxwell Baakoh also fully recovered and ready to play part in the CAF Confederation Cup.
