Asante Kotoko midfielder Joseph Blay has made history by scoring the first goal of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season against Eleven Wonders on Sunday.
Blay gave the Porcupine Warriors an early lead in the 1st minute of the game at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The midfielder jumped highest to head home Patrick Yeboah's corner-kick as he beat goalkeeper John Moosie to hand the Reds a 1-0 lead.
The Black Stars B ace has been one of the consistent performers of Asante Kotoko since joining them from Medeama SC.
