Asante Kotoko players and legends awarded by Hisense for Premier League success

The headline sponsor of Asante Kotoko, Hisense Ghana have presented two separate cheques to the club following the Ghana Premier League success.

A total amount of GHS180,000 were presented to the playing body and the legends of the club during the coronation on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The cheques – GHS108,000 in bonuses for the club and GHS72,000 for the club’s legends.

Again, the playing body and the legends of the club will receive GHS4,000 each as winning bonuses for Sunday’s win from the company.

A win for Kotoko in their last league game of the season against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium will earn the players and the club’s legends an extra GH8,000 from Hisense.

Each player also took home Hisense souvenirs for their sterling performances throughout the campaign.

According to the management of Hisense, the rewards are meant to urge the club to strive for more success.

In a release from its Marketing and PR department, Hisense stated that “…we at Hisense Ghana are indeed proud of this great feat. We urge all native Ghanaian companies to support other clubs to restore our dwindling fortunes in football.

Kuami Eugene and the legendary Pat Thomas thrilled the ecstatic fans at the Baba Yara Stadium over the weekend.

Also in attendance at the event were Hisense-sponsored performers, Dancegod, and the DWP Dancers, who electrified the Baba Yara Stadium with their well-rehearsed choreography.

Asante Kotoko will represent the country in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League following their Premier League success.
