Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum say his players are now learning to play under pressure.

His comments come following his side's 1-0 shocking defeat against Dreams FC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in the matchday 9 games.

Abdul Aziz Issah scored a fine free-kick as the Still Believe lads secured the three points.

The players after the game were booed and criticized following their poor performance.

However, Narteh Ogum says his players are now learning to play under pressure and beleives they will adapt soon.

"I believe it is all related to the pressure of playing for Asante Kotoko," he said after the game.

"The majority of these players are unable to handle this kind of pressure but they will eventually learn to handle it.

He also assured that they are working tirelessly to ensure they get the needed results.

"As a coach, I am not at ease despite Otumfuo's suggestion that we should rebuild.

"You cannot rebuild and relax; instead, we are putting in so much effort, only to have the results fall short of our expectations," he added.

The defeat means Asante Kotoko have recorded two wins, three defeats and four draws after nine games into the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors sit 14th on the league log with 10 points and will be hosted by FC Samartex 1996 in the matchday 10 games at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Saturday.
