Asante Kotoko are on the verge of completing the signing of midfielder Sam Adams in the on-going transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.
The management of the Porcupine Warriors are in advanced negotiations with the 29-year-old over his possible switch ahead of the start of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
Adams is being signed as a replacement for Jordan Opoku who left the club last month.
The experienced midfielder was a member of the Aduana Stars team that won the Ghana Premier League title during the 2016/17 season.
He made 14 appearances and scored two goals for Aduana Stars in the 2018 Ghana Premier League season which ended abruptly following the airing of Anas exposé on corruption in Ghana football.
The new season is scheduled to commence on December 28.
