Asante Kotoko set to finalize capture of Bofoakwa Tano captain Saaka Dauda

Ghana Premier League powerhouse Asante Kotoko are set to complete the acquisition of Bofoakwa Tano in the ongoing transfer window.

The highly-rated attacker enjoyed a great season in the Ghana Premier League, scoring eight goals in 32 appearances.

His impressive performances have attracted interest from several clubs in the league, including the Porcupine Warriors.

Dauda was a key player for Bofoakwa Tano, who despite relegation to the lower division, reached the MTN FA Cup final before falling to Nsoatreman FC.

According to reports in the local media, Dauda, who has a two-years remaining on his contract with the club is set to join Kotoko. It is said talks between Kotoko and Bofoakwa Tano are in the final stages.

He will under his mandatory medical in the coming days before putting pen to paper with Kotoko.

The highly-rated forward will sign a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors.

Dauda will be a valuable asset for the Ghanaian giants considering his exploits last season.
