Asante Kotoko set to terminate contract of newly signed Cameroonian defender Thomas Pele over injury concerns

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will in the coming days terminate contract of newly signed Cameroonian defender Koualao Dane Djomian Thomas Pele due to injury concerns, according local media reports.

The defender who penned a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors after passing his medicals last week is on his way out of the club.

It is said club CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah is ready to approve the termination of Thomas Pele's contract due to injury and age-related issues.

Pele was subjected to an MRI test which revealed he must stay-off the pitch for a year hence, the decision to terminate his deal.

Kotoko are beefing up their squad for the CAF Champions League and Ghana Premier League campaigns.
