Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko are keen on improving the quality in the squad of the team before the start of the 2023/24 football season.
The club has identified talented youngster Godfred Poku Wakii as a player with enormous qualities to strengthen the side.
As a result, sources have indicated that the Porcupine Warriors have contacted Aduana Stars over the availability of the full-back.
Godfred Poku Wakii, 19, put up an outstanding performance for Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League last season.
It is understood that Aduana Stars value the teenager and have plans to transfer him abroad.
Checks have revealed that a number of teams have already reached out to Aduana Stars indicating an interest in his services.
The Dormaa-based club is in talks with representatives of Poku Wakii but is in no hurry to take a decision on his future.
Meanwhile, it is believed that Asante Kotoko have other targets and will work on several other deals in hopes of bolstering the squad of the team for next season.
