Kumasi Asante Kotoko will officially open pre-season today ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The team will camp at Beposo in the Ashanti Region ahead of the new season.
Ahead of the pre-season, the club has already parted ways with 11 players have been declared surplus to requirement by head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum.
The team on Monday reported to camp and are expected to intensify their training and preparations ahead of the new season.
Having finished 4th last campaign, Asante Kotoko will hope to improve their performance ahead of the new season.
The playing body, the technical team and the Interim Management Committee on Monday visited Manhyia to seek for the blessings of the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II ahead of the new football season.
Asante Kotoko will open their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
