Asante Kotoko to quit Caf Confederations Cup playoffs game against ES Setif due to financial constraints?

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to abandon their Caf Confederations Cup game against ES Setif this weekend.

The Ghana Premier League are billed to play the Algerian side on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 2-1 in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium despite taking the lead.

According to Kumasi based Pure FM, the club is yet to fly to Algiers but is likely the second game will be abandoned due to financial crisis.

Asante Kotoko have 24 hours to report in other to do the COVID-19 test before the game on Sunday.

Kotoko will have to arrive in Algiers today before one and half hours to Setif for the game.
