Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of former Karela United striker William Opoku Mensah in the on-going transfer, Footballghana.com can report.
The 23-year-old, who has returned to Ghana after his contract at American side Swope Park Rangers was terminated is in advanced nengotiations with the Porcupine Warriors.
He is expected to pen a deal with the Reds in the coming days before the start of the new season.
He had a disappointing a spell in the United States after failing to make a single appearance for Swope Park Rangers.
Mensah, who scored an incredible 19-minute hattrick against giants Hearts of Oak in 2018, bagged seven goals in 14 appearances for Karela United same year.
