Asante Kotoko youngster Bernard Somuah says it’s an honour to feature in Ghana’s biggest clash against Hearts of Oak.

Somuah made substitute appearance when the Porcupine Warriors cruised to a 2-0 win over the Phobians at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. He assisted Mukwala to score the second goal to seal win for Kotoko.

The Porcupine Warriors completed the double over their arch-rivals, following a thrilling 3-2 win earlier in the campaign.

The Uganda international scored two brilliant goals as the Porcupine Warriors cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points.

Mukwala opened the scoring after just eight minutes into the game before sealing victory in injury time to snatch maximum points for the Porcupine Warriors.

“An honor to feature in the biggest clash in the country and most importantly with a win. Krobea will always remain Supreme” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The win propels Kotoko into the top half of the table, now in 9th place and further away from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak find themselves in a precarious position, sitting 14th on the table, just two points above the drop zone.
