Ashanti Gold head coach Thomas Duah believes he is better than Hearts of Oak's Samuel Boadu and Prosper Narteh Ogum of Asante Kotoko.

According to coach Duah, Boadu and Narteh are his juniors in terms of coaching however, with the maximum support like both are enjoying at the moment he will be able to win titles for Ashgold.

Coach Duah led the Miners to the finals of the 2020/21 MTN FA Cup but lost on penalties to Hearts of Oak.

"People have forgotten how long I have been in this job. You cannot select three (best) Ghana Premier League coaches without adding my name," he told Kumasi-based OTEC FM.

"Great Olympics head coach, Annor Walker and coach Kassim Mingle of Bechem United are those I started with.

He added, "Coach Prosper Narteh, Samuel Boadu, and others are my juniors. What I need is support."

"Just give me the credit I deserve when Ashgold win any game and stop tagging my team with betting."

Ashanti Gold are currently 10th on the league table with with 38 points, scoring 36 goals and conceded 27 goals.

Ashgold will take on Medeama SC on match week 28 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
