Ashanti Gold S.C suffer blow with Appiah McCarthy out injured for up to three months

Ashanti Gold S.C have been dealt a considerable blow with midfielder Appiah McCarthy facing nine weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a knee ligament injury.

McCarthy has been on the sidelines rules since helping the Black Stars 'B' to finish second at the 2019 WAFU Cup.

He is expected to be out of action in the next three months with a knee ligament injury.

According to reports, the highly-rated midfielder has undergone a test which the medical doctor has suggested for a surgery which will keep him out off the pitch for some time.
