AshantiGold SC are on the verge of completing the signing of former Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Stephen Nana Bentil in the on-going transfer window. Bentil, whose contract has expired has already arrived in Obuasi and has started training with the Miners ahead of a possible switch. He will be signing a two-year deal with the former Ghana Premier League champions in the coming days after passing a medical and completing the formalities. Ashgold coach Ricardo da Rocha worked with Bentil during his reign as the head coach of Ebusua Dwarfs where they finished 4th in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season. The midfielder has been a key cog for Cape Coast based side since joining them in 2016. AshantiGold SC have already acquired the services of former Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko SC stalwart defender Ahmed Adams ahead of the start of new season on December 28.
