AshantiGold striker Shafiu Mumuni has been named as the skipper of the Black Stars B ahead of African Nations Championship (CHAN), Footballghana.com can report.
Mumuni will lead coach Maxwell Konadu's side when they face Burkina Faso in the CHAN final qualifying round first leg tie on Sunday.
The highly-rated forward has been in an incredible form for the Miners after scoring four goals in three games in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Ghana will be looking to qualify for the next stage of the competition when they lock horns with their West African counterparts.
The Black Stars B's last appearance was in 2014.
The team will also aim to defend the WAFU Cup of Nations which commences on September 28 in Senegal.
