Acting head coach for Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Yakubu Sheriff Mambo has stressed that he is confident his side will be able to pick maximum points from their clash against Techiman Eleven Wonders this weekend.
Nicknamed the Miners, the Obuasi-based club has managed to pick up 6 points from two matches in the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
They dispatched Great Olympics on the opening weekend of the competition before beating King Faisal last weekend.
Now set to come up against Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Len Clay Sports Stadium, Coach Yakubu Sheriff Mambo says his team will be going for all 3 points.
“I am assured of a win on Sunday because we are putting all our efforts to achieve it.
“It is not going to be an easy or walkover fixture but our aim and preparations are towards a win in this game”, the gaffer said.
He has further called on the supporters of the team to troop to the stadium on Sunday, January 12, to back the Miners to victory.
“I am urging all the fans to be at the stadium on Sunday to watch us perform well and give them a victory in the end”, coach Yakubu Sheriff Mambo added.
