AshantiGold will play Division one side Asokwa Deportivo in a friendly on Saturday at the Ofori Stadium as part of preparations ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup return leg.
The two teams have already met in two friendlies in 2018, with the Miners winning both games by 3-2 3-1 respectively.
However, this will be the first time the teams will be meeting this year in a friendly.
Asokwa Deportivo, who knocked out Ashgold consecutively in the 2016 (round of 16) and 2017 (round of 32) MTN FA Cup are expected to offer a proper test over the weekend.
Coach Ricardo Da Rocha will seek to use game to prepare and finalise his team ahead of a trip to Morroco for the second against RS Berkane.
After the friendly encounter, the players will be given a break on Sunday and resume training on Monday, September 23.
