Ashantigold forward Yaw Annor is targeting a top-four finish with the club at the end of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

After a difficult start to the 2021/22 season, the miners have turned things around by winning their last two games.

They sit 10th spot with 38 points after 27 matches into the domestic top-flight.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Fox FM, Yaw Annor said, “Things were not going on as expected but I think we have picked our form and clubs should be wary off us. any club that comes to Obuasi must be careful because we are capable of scoring four or five goals against any opponent”

“With some few games to go, we are hoping to win most of our matches in order to break into the top four”

“The points gap between the club is not too wide, so everything is possible for us. we are taking it game after game but we are confident on making the top four” he said.

The former Bechem United speedster has been impressive in the ongoing campaign for the miners, bagging 16 goals after 27 matches.

He is currently in contention for the goal king prize as he trails Asante Kotoko’s Frank Mbella by just two goals with 7 games to end the season.
