Ashanti Gold SC poster boy, Yaw Annor has disclosed that he managed to win the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season goal king award due to the hard work he put in.
Speaking to Original FM in an interview, the highly-rated attacker has disclosed that he is super excited to end the season with the most goals in the division.
Opening up on how he succeeded this season, Yaw Annor said, “Am very delighted to win the Ghana premier league goal king and equalling My senior Ishmael Addo record it was very difficult league but I fight very hard to win the GPL goal king.”
On the final day of the Ghana Premier League season over the weekend, Yaw Annor started for Ashanti Gold SC in the game against Gold Stars away at Bibiani.
The forward netted a sensational first-half brace that propelled the Miners to earn a 2-2 draw.
Thanks to his goals, Yaw Annor leapfrogged Asante Kotoko’s Franck Etouga Mbella to win the goal king award.
