Ashanti Gold midfielder Hans Kwofie is not getting carried away after bagging this season's premier league first hat trick.
Kwofie scored all three goals when AshantiGold defeated Accra Great Olympics 3-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium on match-day three.
He has been lauded and praised for his performance so far in the league but the 26-year-old wants to do more and not relent on his abilities.
“I felt really happy to scorer the first hat-trick of the season, it was a good moment for me, I received lots of messages from friends and other people but that is past and gone,” he told Ghana Sports Newspaper.
“I have to stay focus, I don’t have to allow this get into me, there is still a long way to go in the Ghana Premier League.
“All I need to do is to try and help my team AshGold in every game. If the goals come I will score and if it doesn’t I will just try and put in more effort to help my team.”
