Ask the players what’s wrong with them – King Faisal owner Alhaji Grusah to journalists

Owner and bankroller of King Faisal Alhaji Grusah has suggested he has no idea why the team has declined in form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Isha Allah boys who had a descent start to the campaign are currently struggling having gone five games without a win.

They lost 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea in their outstanding Ghana premier League match at the Baba Yara Stadium last Thursday.

According to him, he keeps performing his responsibilities as a club owner by paying salaries and winning bonuses, saying it is up to the players to deliver.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with the players, you should ask them yourself because I have been performing my responsibilities. Even before our game against Chelsea, I increased the winning bonuses from GHC300 to GHC400. So, I don’t know what to do again” he said after the game.

Meanwhile, he has expressed optimism about the club’s survival in the Ghana Premier League.

“We will escape relegation at the end of the season. People thought we would be relegated last season but it didn’t happen, we have about 11 games to end the campaign and we hope to change the narrative”

King Faisal sits 11th position on the league table with 29 points after 24 matches into the season.
