Super Eagles assistant coach, Jean Francois Losciuto has branded Burkina Faso coach, Traore Drissa “disrespectful” following declarations made by the Burkinabe gaffer on Saturday.

Drissa described Nigeria’s Super Eagles as “not special” adding that his side will overturn the 2-0 first leg scoreline inside 30 minutes when both sides meet in a second leg 2016 Africa Nations Championship (Chan) qualifier.

Losciuto believes such statements depict a lack of respect and insists the Super Eagles played well on Saturday.

“The Burkina Faso coach is quite disrespectful thinking his side will score two goals against us inside 30 minutes.

“He should show more respect to us, concentrate more on his side and stop looking at what is happening with our team.

“I think we played a very good game tactically and the players did well especially when they did not have the ball.

“He is entitled to his opinion but I think he needs to learn respect,” he said.

The trainer rounded off his analysis by commending his wards’ second half display which fetched his side a goal.

“We had a better second half compared to our performance in the first half.

“There were some lapses noticed but those can be corrected,” Losciuto said.

The winner of the tie will progress to the 2016 Chan which holds in Rwanda from January 16 to February 7.
